- Jonathan Ida is a Pediatric Otolaryngologist, based in Chicago, IL. An alumnus of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, he completed his General Surgery internship and Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery residency at Tulane University School of Medicine before advancing to a fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Since 2011, he has been a Pediatric Otolaryngologist at the Ann & Robert H Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, and on the faculty at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. In addition to General Pediatric Otolaryngology, Dr. Ida is largely engaged in complex pediatric airway evaluation and treatment, including Complex Airway Reconstruction, Endoscopic and Minimally Invasive airway surgery, Emergency Airway Management, Pediatric and Neonatal Feeding and Swallowing disorders, and Congenital Airway Lesions. Since arriving in Chicago he has served as Medical Director for Speech & Language Services, Medical Director of the Aerodigestive Program, Director of the Fetal EXIT to Airway program, and Vice Chair for Clinical Operations for the Department of Surgery. During this time he has also obtained an MBA, and developed skills in Process and Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, leading several large, high-impact initiatives occupying the space where Quality Improvement and Clinical Operations overlap.
