Summary

• Dr. Jonathan Crisp was a psychiatrist in Marion,VA. He was a staff clinician at the State Hospital and retired as Medical Director after several years of service in that capacity. He received his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine. He completed a Triple Board residency at the University of Kentucky and was board certified with recertification in adult psychiatry. He retired from service at Southwest Virginia Mental Health Institute in 2019 after practicing 28 years at that and a variety of other hospitals. While in private practice he specialized in child and adolescent psychiatry but enjoyed the challenge of inpatient work with the chronically mentally ill population.
