• Dr. Jon Allen is a retired internal medicine/critical care specialist based in Grand Forks, ND, with extensive experience in clinical medicine, medical education, and simulation. He earned his medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 1984 and completed his internal medicine training at Marshfield Clinic. Dr. Allen has been a professor at the University of North Dakota and its School of Medicine and Health Sciences since 1999 and served as the founding Director of the SIM-ND Statewide Mobile Simulation program. He previously practiced at Unimed and Trinity Health Systems in Minot, ND where he was the founding medical director of a rotor-wing air ambulance program.
