Dr. John Walker is a family medicine physician based in The Woodlands, TX. He graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine in 1986 and completed his family medicine residency at the Conroe Medical Education Foundation in 1989. Since then, he has been a co-owner of Highland Woods Health. Dr. Walker has contributed to research with a publication on mitochondrial ATP synthase, which has been widely cited. He participated in the JUPITER clinical trial focused on cardiovascular event prevention. He has received several recognitions, including the Patient Centered Medical Home Level 3 from NCQA and recognition from the Bridges to Excellence Diabetes Care Program.
