Summary

• Dr. Yuhas is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing care to patients across the lifespan. He began his nursing career in 2008 with emergency services at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Metro Health Medical Center in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Since that time, he has deepened his acumen with continued roles in the emergency, acute care, and psychiatric settings as a nursing professional.
  
  
  Dr. Yuhas earned both his Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice Degrees at Arizona State University where he served as an associate faculty member in the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation. His clinical practicum hours as a psychiatric nurse practitioner student were completed across diverse patient care settings including, Hazelden Betty Ford, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Integro Health Systems and A New Leaf Behavioral Health. Additional clinical residency hours focused on developing skills in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
  
  Dr. Yuhas currently treats patient's with the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula's outpatient behavioral health division. He continues to pursue his passion of integrating psychotherapy and medication management as part of his ongoing practice.
