John Strenkowski PA (He/Him)

Summary

• John Strenkowski is a certified, licensed physician assistant who graduated from the UAB PA program in 2020. He has a clinical background in internal medicine and primary care, and is currently practicing in academic hospital medicine in central Alabama at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He maintains a particular interest in preventative medicine, as well as inpatient management of a number of pulmonary, cardiovascular, and metabolic conditions. He also currently serves on clinical staff for the inpatient medical procedure service at UAB's main hospital.
  
  Mr. Strenkowski has an academic background in clinical emergency medicine and trauma care research, and has contributed to numerous publications on the topics of the lung cancer tumor micro environment and the implications of microvesicle signaling on the pathogenesis of asthma.
  
  Mr. Strenkowski resides in Central Alabama with his wife and dog, Olaf, and enjoys playing guitar, barbecuing, and golfing.
