I am a second year Child Psychiatry Fellow at Los Angeles General Hospital (formerly LAC + USC) now working in CHLA affiliated clinics serving the population with private insurance and Medicaid/MediCal. During my post graduate training I have been known for going the extra mile for the sake of my patients, staff, peers, and supervisors. Finding a way to learn from others while sharing my knowledge and engaging in discussions of how to reshape and improve the workplace proactively. Most recently this has included delving into both Jungian Psychology and Systems Psychodynamics/Group Relations to better understand how group-level unconscious processes play into workplace culture.

I graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine with an M.D. as well as a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and research in experimental transplant immunology. I have also received a master's of health science with a Public Mental Health focus from Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health. My work as a clinician and researcher is also informed by my personal experience with chronic disease, Crohn's, and as a family member of someone with severe mental illness, bipolar disorder type I.
