- John Riordan, MD is an Emergency Medicine specialist based in Missoula, MT. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the Carolinas Medical Center in 1995, and his Medical Degree at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 1992. In 2016, Dr. Riordan obtained an MSc in Clinical Research from the University of Virginia. He served on faculty in the department of emergency medicine at UVA Health as Vice Chair for Clinical Operations until joining the Montana VA in the fall of 2023. Currently, he is leading the research program for the system and providing medical direction, while seeing patients at the Fort Harrison emergency department.
