Summary

• Dr. Ratmeyer has been at GIMC since 1991, Deputy Chief of Pediatrics since 1992. He grew up in Chicago and New York City and completed his pediatric training at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, OH. He is board-certified in Pediatrics, a general pediatrician engaged in the full scope of practice, and is interested in preventing and responding to child abuse & neglect. He also enjoys long-distance running for health and fitness, focusing on the half-marathon distance, and so enjoys caring for athletes. He is married to Liliana since 1988 and they have two adult sons, Paul and Glenn, both of whom are pursuing careers in medicine. He's retiring from his work at GIMC after June 2024.
