Summary
- With innovative thinking and a patient-centered approach, Dr. Leach serves as the Chief Medical Officer for all Alleviant Health Centers and Medical Director of Alleviant Health Centers of Naples. He earned his MD from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2012 and continued at UAMS to complete the adult psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship. During his residency he secured the Wise Award for his proposal to improve Resident Mental Health and served as Chief Fellow in his final year of Child and Adolescent Fellowship. He is a licensed medical doctor in the states of Arkansas and Florida and is Double Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for General Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. In addition to his roles at Alleviant, Dr. Leach is also the Director of Adolescent Psychiatry and Medical Director of PHP/IOP at Conway Behavioral Health. In his first year out of residency, Dr. Leach ventured into private practice with a small therapy clinic and, in 9 months, helped catapult it to Arkansas Business of the Year. It took less than a year to hit the limits of the traditional psychiatry model, too many patients went unseen or fell through the cracks as too many barriers blocked the way. Around the same time, Dr. Leach met an innovative new company and merged his vision for the future of psychiatric care with their dream for a national clinic franchise. Dr. Leach joined as the Chief Medical Officer and Alleviant Health Centers took shape.
Regarding Alleviant Health Centers, “As physicians we all believe in improving patients’ lives. And even though most dream of improving the industry, we feel we have to choose one or the other. The wisest words of arguably the wisest man in history were, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” Mahatma Gandhi was right, and Alleviant is poised to be the change we’be all been wishing for.”
