- Dr. Latall grew up in the Northern suburbs of Chicago. His motivation for creating Premier Allergy in 2012 was the desire to offer patients custom, personalized solutions. His interest in allergy and asthma stems from his own experience in gaining control of his allergic asthma, which allowed him to return to sports during childhood. He understands the desire to live a full, symptom-free life and enjoys assisting patients achieve their specific treatment goals. He strives to create a partnership with his patients through identifying the causes of their allergic issues, discussing treatment options and together formulating a plan that is both practical for the patient and likely to be effective.
His primary interests are diagnosis and treatment of adults, adolescents, and children with chronic allergic airway disease, such as allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial), sinusitis, asthma, food allergy, atopic eczema, urticaria (hives), and angioedema (allergic swelling).
Dr. Latall is a past section chief of Allergy & Immunology at the University of Illinois-Chicago Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI). Chicago Magazine has recognized Dr. Latall as a 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 ‘Top Doctor’ in Allergy/Immunology.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and spending time with his family and dogs.
