Dr. John Holup is a Wound care specialist in northern NJ. He received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a Surgical residency at Rutgers , University Hospital in Newark,NJ. He is experienced in minimally invasive surgery, trauma and surgical critical care, bariatric surgery, hernia surgery / abdominal wall reconstruction, and wound management. He is currently active as a full time wound care specialist seeing an average of 100 patients /week at several extended care/rehabilitation facilities. He is certified by The American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Wound Management. He has 3 publications and 8 citings.
