John Fitzgerald, MD is a board certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician at the Center for Pain Management in Indianapolis, Indiana. He joined the practice in 2004 and offers 30 years of experience as a pain medicine specialist. Dr. Fitzgerald is a well-known leader in lumbar radiofrequency rhizotomy and has trained internationally with the physicians and scientists who developed the procedure and equipment used to perform it. As a result of his first-hand training in radiofrequency rhizotomy, Dr. Fitzgerald has subsequently trained numerous physicians on the tools and techniques he uses on a daily basis. Prior to joining the Center for Pain Management, Dr. Fitzgerald practiced both anesthesiology and pain management at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis and served as the organization’s chairman of the Anesthesiology Section.
