- Dr. John E. Ervin earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame and received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1976.
There he completed a Residency in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. In addition, Dr. Ervin has been on the teaching staff at both the University of Kansas Medical Center and the University of Missouri -- Kansas City.
John E. Ervin, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.R. founded The Center for Pharmaceutical Research in 1986, and serves as the CEO, Medical Director, and Principal Investigator. He was the first president and co-founder of The Society of Principal Investigators and is a founding member of The Alliance for Multispecialty Research. He has conducted over 800 phase I through IV clinical trials.
