- Dr. Concato is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. He was most recently Associate Director for Real-World Evidence Analytics in the Office of Medical Policy (OMP), Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Dr. Concato was also the founding director of the CDER Center for Real-World Evidence Innovation (CCRI). Prior to joining FDA in 2019, for three decades he was a clinician, educator, researcher, and center director at Yale University and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Concato completed his medical education at New York University (NYU) School of Medicine in 1985, followed by a residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at NYU/Bellevue Hospital and a fellowship as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
