All of my surgical training completed in Philadelphia, Pa. at Jefferson Medical College and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Board certified in general surgery since 1980.
Entire surgical career has been in Monroe, North Carolina since completing my training in 1979. Was in private practice until 2003 when I became employed with the Carolinas HealthCare System in 2003.
In addition to general surgery I began work at the Healogics affiliated Wound Care Center in Monroe, NC in 2006.
Former Medical Director on EMS Services in Union County, NC.
Former Clinical Instructor in Surgery for fourth year medical students for the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC.
Former Clinical Instructor for the Physician Assistants program of Wingate University, Wingate, NC.
