Summary
- I am an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA. I am dual Board Certified in Ophthalmology and Clinical Informatics, and practice as a cataract and refractive surgeon at Stein Eye Institute and as a Physician Informaticist at UCLA Health. I am also the Chief of the Division of Cataract and Refractive Surgery at Stein Eye. A California native, I earned my medical degree at New York Medical College, and completed my internship and residency at North Shore University Hospital before returning to California for a fellowship in Comprehensive Ophthalmology at Stein Eye. I continue to be interested in cataract surgery improvement and surgery instruction, health care quality, and EHR development and optimization.
