Dr. John Aker is a plastic surgeon based in Carmel/Indianapolis, IN. He completed his medical education at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo in 1988. Dr. Aker's postgraduate training includes a pediatrics residency at the University at Buffalo from 1988 to 1990, a surgery residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School from 1990 to 1993, and a plastic surgery residency at Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center from 1993 to 1995, and then aesthetic surgery fellowship at NYU from 1995 to 1996. He was recognized as a Regional Top Doctor by Castle Connolly in 2014, and recognized annually as an Indianapolis "Top Doc" annually for 18 years.
