Summary
- I'm an academic physician leader and primary care physician interested in transforming the way our health care systems are structured and care is delivered. I believe we need to restructure our care teams to deliver cost effective, patient-centered, evidenced-based care that shares the burdens of documentation while maintaining meaningful individual relationships. My strengths are developing relationships and having the courage to work toward a vision that may disrupt the status quo. Clinical practice grounds me and keeps me relevant among my patients, teams, and colleagues. Balancing academic clinical medicine with leadership is a unique privilege which takes time and energy to cultivate, yet critical for success in larger scale clinical integration and transformation.
