  • As a doctoral student under the mentorship of Gerald C. Davison, Ph.D, at University of Southern California Dr. Rosenbaum earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Clinical internship toward the Ph.D. with specialization in Neuropsychology was at West Los Angeles Veterans Administration Medical Center Neurobehavioral Unit under the direction of Jeffrey L. Cummings, MD, D. Frank Benson, MD, and Wilfred G. Van Gorp, Ph.D. Subsequent, post doctoral fellowships were completed in the Neurology Department at Boston University School of Medicine (Teaching Fellow) and at New England Rehabilitation Hospital (Clinical Fellow in Neuropsychology). Having served many years as Senior Neuropsychologist at Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital on Boston’s south shore, he is now in private practice in Quincy and sees inpatients in several Boston area settings providing neuropsychological services across the lifespan emphasizing a lifespan-developmental approach. Academic appointment is as Lecturer in Psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine. He is a former President of the Massachusetts Neuropsychological Society (2007-2008), an elected fellow of the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and recently fulfilled a 3-year elected term on the Board of Directors for Massachusetts Psychological Association (2009-2012). He is a recipient twice (2009, 2013) of the Massachusetts Psychological Association Presidential Citation for Advocacy, and was awarded the American Psychological Association Karl F. Heiser Presidential Award for Advocacy on Behalf of Professional Psychology (August, 3, 2013).
