- João Quevedo, MD, Ph.D. concluded his MD in 1998, his residency training in Psychiatry in 2000, his fellowship in Psychopharmacology in 2001, and his Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry) in 2002, all from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
Dr. Joao Quevedo serves as Professor, Vice-Chair for Faculty Development and Outreach, Director of the Center for Interventional Psychiatry, and Director of the Treatment-Resistant Depression Program at the Faillace Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, McGovern Medical School, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston).
Dr. Joao Quevedo also serves as Editor-in-Chief for the Brazilian Journal of Psychiatry and Associate Editor for Translational Psychiatry.
