- Jessica L. Buicko, M.D., FACS, is a board=certified General Surgeon and a fellowship-trained Endocrine Surgeon. Dr. Buicko specializes in advanced and metabolic endocrine surgery including thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and neuroendocrine tumors. She has advanced training in minimally invasive surgery, including both robotic and laparoscopic surgery. She also specializes in breast surgical oncology.
Prior to joining Baptist Health in 2019, Dr. Buicko completed an endocrine and metabolic surgery fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. She is the only fellowship-trained endocrine surgeon practicing in Palm Beach County.
During her residency, Dr. Buicko served as the head editor and author of a pediatric surgical handbook that is now sold worldwide. She was also named Resident of the Year twice and received the first-ever Resident Humanism Award during her residency program.
