  I have been practicing in mental health since 1997. I started my career first as a behavioral health registered nurse in my civilian life and I continued that in the Army until I became a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner in 2008 through the Army’s Long Term Health Education Program. All of my experience as an NP has been on active duty working with various adult populations.
  
  I recently retired from the Army after proudly serving for almost 22 years. My family and I are new to the area. I am looking to start my practice with a patient population that I truly love. My main focus is psychiatric medication management with a medical spin. I think it is important to address the whole person and their history when making choices for care. We will work together to come up with a healthcare plan that works for everyone involved.
