Summary
- I am a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist who treats psychiatric disorders with a family-centered, evidence-based treatment approach. I evaluate, diagnose and treat children of all ages, adolescents and adults. I provide individual therapy, family therapy, psychoeducation and medication management. I collaborate with other care providers to obtain information to make the best possible diagnosis, and to develop individualized treatment. I also utilize standardized checklists and instruments for diagnosis and treatment. I work hard to advocate in the best interests of my patients and for others who need mental health services. My efforts include grassroots lobbying, development of legislation and leadership roles with the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP).
