Summary
- A native of Chicago-land, Dr. Jennifer Glover received her M.D. from Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. She continued her residency in General Surgery at the University of Chicago and went on to complete fellowships in both Trauma/Critical Care and Minimally Invasive Surgery. Dr. Glover is board certified in General Surgery, Trauma/Critical Care, NeuroCritical Care and is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Rush University Medical Center. She is current Associate Program Director for the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Cook County Hospital and Director of Surgical ICU.
Outside the operating room, Dr. Glover has over ten years of experience in utilization review and quality control, with a focus on the intensive care unit, timely transfers to long term care facilities, appropriate admissions and length of stay. She is well versed in improving patient outcomes by systematically analyzing where the facility, physicians, ancillary staff, support services, etc could have been more effective. She has extensive experience in medical reviews and as a physician advisor, for insurance carriers, independent review organizations, law offices and hospital systems. Dr. Glover is also an experienced product ambassador, company Spokesperson and a designated Certified Physician Executive (CPE).
