• Dr. Broad was born and raised in Southern California. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from University of California Irvine, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class.
  
  Prior to medical school, Dr. Broad worked at the Whitaker Wellness Institute of Newport Beach (one of the first alternative medicine clinics) in order to learn about integrative medicine. Dr. Broad went on to get her medical degree and residency training at the world renowned Loma Linda University Medical School and Hospital. Upon graduation, she had the honor of being asked to stay on as a physician and professor.
  
  Dr. Broad is currently on the medical staff at Hoag Hospital and is also privileged with the Newport Beach Surgery Center. Dr Broad is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. Dr Broad has extensive training in Obstetrics/High risk Obstetrics, Gynecology, Infertility, Laparoscopic surgery, Gynecologic Urology, Pelvic Pain, Bleeding Disorders, PMS,& Menopausal disorder.
  
  I come from an integrative medicine background which focuses on the whole health of my patients. I worked at one of the original integrative medical clinics. The world famous Whitaker Wellness Clinic based in Newport Beach. I was educated and trained at Loma Linda University Hospital which is an Adventist Hospital. The Adventist philosophy is focused on whole person care which integrates the mental, physical, and spiritual care. I have a holistic approach to healing. You will find that I ask a lot of questions and pose different modalities to help you out.
