- Dr. Jeffrey White is a trained hematologist and board-certified medical oncologist working at the National Cancer Institute and in a private practice based in Lansdown, VA, with expertise in adult T-cell leukemia. He studied Applied and Engineering Physics at Cornell University before earning his MD at Howard University College of Medicine in 1984. His postgraduate training included an Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship at MedStar Health/Georgetown-Washington Hospital Center. Dr. White is presently an Adjunct Associate Professor at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and has held significant leadership roles, such as the Director of the Office of Cancer Complementary and Alternative Medicine in the Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis of the National Cancer Institute. He has numerous publications in well-regarded journals, including Translational Oncology, the Journal of Complementary and Integrative Medicine, and the Journal of Global Oncology and has received various honors and awards like the NCI Director's Award and the Leading Diversity Award from the National Cancer Institute.
