He completed a three year cardiovascular disease fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 1995. He has experience in general cardiology, hypertension, coronary artery disease, echocardiography, electrical cardioversion, percutaneous coronary intervention, advanced mechanical support for cardiogenic shock, and pulmonary thrombectomy for pulmonary embolic disease.
