Summary

• I'm an incoming Gastroenterology Fellow (2025-2028) at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School, following my Internal Medicine residency (2022-2025) at North Shore-Long Island Jewish/Northwell Health. I completed both my MD and PhD at the University of Miami, where my doctoral research in neuroscience explored the transcriptional regulation of axon growth in the central nervous system. These days, my research focuses on inflammatory bowel disease and its thromboembolic complications with publications in journals such as Inflammatory Bowel Diseases and Digestive Diseases and Sciences. I serve on the Editorial Board for the World Journal of Gastroenterology. My research has been recognized with multiple Outstanding Poster Presenter awards from the American College of Gastroenterology (2023, 2024), selection as a Cornerstones Health "Best of DDW" IBD Finalist (2024), and several peer review awards including Clinical and Translational Gastroenterology "Top Reviewer" and multiple Outstanding Peer Reviewer awards from ACG Case Reports Journal.
