He is also the Chief of the Interventional Radiology Division in the Department of Radiology at Keck Medicine of USC and the Program Director of the Independent Interventional Radiology Residency Program.

    He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Harvard University (Brigham and Women's Hospital) and his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania (Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania). He is board-certified in both Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Chick previously served as the Associate Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Program Director of the Interventional Radiology Residency, and Director of Research at the University of Washington. He is the founder of The Deep Vein Institute, IRADLab (Interventional Radiology Laboratories), and Interventional Arts.

    A nationally and internationally recognized expert, Dr. Chick specializes in venous thromboembolic (VTE) disease, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), superior vena cava (SVC) syndrome, venous occlusive disease, pulmonary embolism (PE), endovascular thrombectomy, venous recanalization and stent reconstruction, lymphatic imaging and interventions, and Interventional Radiology-operated endoscopy. He is also an expert in the areas of social media, burnout, moral injury, wellness, fulfillment, and medical malpractice within the field of Interventional Radiology. Dr. Chick has presented at more than 200 national and international conferences and authored over 240 peer-reviewed articles.
