Dr. Ross is Board certified in Family Medicine, Geriatrics, and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Ross is the director of the transitions of care program for Geriatrics and Extended Care at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. Dr Ross is a Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio departments of Family medicine and Medicine/Geriatrics. Dr. Ross’s academic interests include integrating Geriatric Palliative Care content into educational programs at the undergraduate and graduate medical education levels. Her main interests include: advanced communication skills, goals of care, pain management,
management of falls in elders and transitions of care.
