• Jean-Luc Neptune, MD MBA is a licensed physician, startup founder and investor. Dr. Neptune is currently the founder of Suntra Modern Recovery (www.hellosuntra.com), a personalized telemedicine-based recovery solution for people with substance use disorders featuring expert medical doctors, virtual visits, and research-proven recovery medications. Previously, Dr. Neptune serves as entrepreneur-in-residence at the Hospital For Special Surgery (“HSS”), the #1 rated orthopedic hospital in the United States, working closely with the leadership team of the HSS Innovation Institute. Prior to founding Suntra Dr. Neptune also worked at Blueprint Health (www.blueprinthealth.org), a pioneering digital health accelerator, where he oversaw the operations of the accelerator program, guided investment into dozens of digital health companies, and continues as a partner in Blueprint’s investment funds. Dr. Neptune earned a BA from Columbia College at Columbia University, an MD from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, and an MBA at the Wharton School. Finally, Dr. Neptune completed a residency in internal medicine at Presbyterian Hospital in New York City and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York.
