Summary
- I am currently a clinical fellow in child psychiatry at MGH/McLean after completing residency in Adult Psychiatry Behavioral Neuroscience at Saint Louis University. My goal always has been compassionate and excellent clinical care, while also seeking innovation where possible. My career was launched in research and implementation science, creating new methods in biochemical processes. I have also been involved in publications reviewing Sexually Violent Predator Laws in the U.S., and am currently working on the effect of treating psychiatric conditions on substance use disorder in minors, as well as management of enuresis and encopresis. As the Chief Resident in Research and Development, I was also involved heavily on education of medical students throughtout my residency training, teaching from basic patient interaction, psychopharmacology, critical thinking in clinical management and scientific literature, to expanding their interest in social topics overlapping with psychiatric care. For this, I was reviewed as "favorite mentor," and even as "the resident who persuaded me into psychiatry." Upon completion of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship and MGH/McLean Hospital, I will be joining Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.
