Chase Award for Physician Executive Excellence by Association of Military Surgeons of the United States (AMSUS), 2000; Dr. M. Wiswanathan Oration Medal by Researh Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), 2002; Laureate Award of The American College of Physicians, Arizona Chapter 2006 and President's Distinguished Physician's Award by American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), 2010. He recently moved to Phoenix AZ area to be closer to his family.
