Summary
- I am an Intensivist with Medical/Surgical ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU and Cardio-Thoracic/Vascular ICU along with Inpatient pulmonary experience. I am proficient in all pulmonary/critical care procedures with a high focus on advanced airway management (including surgical airways, percutaneous tracheostomy), resuscitation, and advanced ultrasound.
• Conducted biannual cadaver training course for surgical and percutaneous airway for both fellows and attendings. In addition to biannual ACGME guided simulation training and certification for IM/EM/Surgery residents for intubation, arterial lines, central venous access lines and other critical care procedures.
• Skilled in creation or renovation of evidence based, metric evaluated critical care and pulmonary procedures, practice algorithms, and quality improvement measures.
• Established of a multidisciplinary Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) along with designing evidence based diagnosis and treatment recommendation algorithms.
• Co-established critical care ultrasound training courses and elective for both Residents and Fellows including all aspects of advanced critical care ultrasound.
• Co-established of the multidisciplinary Jefferson New Jersey Lung Nodule Center.
• Co-established advanced bronchoscopy program with emphasis on interventional pulmonary procedures including:
o EBUS, Navigational bronchoscopy, tumor ablation and airway recanalization, endobronchial valves, tunneled pleural catheters, advanced pleural procedures, massive hemoptysis endobronchial treatment.
