  • Dr. Jay Harolds is a radiologist and nuclear medicine physician affiliated with Spectrum Health - Butterworth Hospital. He received his medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (now called the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences), did his internship and residency at Georgetown University Hospitals, and his fellowship in nuclear medicine at Vanderbilt University. He has more than 220 publications and over 1000 citations. He has given over 90 out of state lectures. He has been awarded multiple honors including the Gold Medal of the American College of Nuclear Medicine. He has been president of 8 medical organizations. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology with Special Competence in Nuclear Medicine. He is also board certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. He is a fellow of the ACR, SNMMI, the AUR, and the American College of Nuclear Medicine. He has been a radiology residency director for over 25 years.
