Jay Ferrell, MD, FACS is an Otolaryngologist (ENT) based in San Antonio, TX, with subspecialty training and expertise in Head & Neck Oncologic Surgery. Dr. Ferrell completed his education and training from renowned and respected institutions including Oregon Health & Science University, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and Texas A&M. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he has specific clinical interests in head and neck cancer, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and robotic head and neck surgery. His academic interests include evaluating quality and outcomes in head and neck cancer treatment, head and neck endocrine surgery, and disparities in healthcare delivery. Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr. Ferrell has an impressive record of publications and has been recognized for his contributions with several awards, including Scene in S.A. Magazine's Best Doctors in S.A. 2023 and Top Surgeons in San Antonio 2021.
