  • Jason Sreedhar (he/him) is an Emergency Medicine resident physician and former health and development worker. Jason is a passionate health professional focused on innovation and patient-centered approaches to improving quality of healthcare services, particularly for systematically marginalized and excluded populations. During his time as a medical student at the Nova Southeastern University, Jason worked to build capacity and develop technical materials for local organizations including the Coalition for Research and Education Against Trafficking and Exploitation (CREATE), the Farmworker Association of Florida (FWAF), and the NSU chapter of the American Academy of Disaster Medicine.

    Prior to matriculating at NSU, Jason worked in global health systems strengthening, with particular focus on HIV service delivery in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. Jason has worked with and alongside many of the major donors and implementers in this space, including USAID, NIH, CDC, WHO, the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative, Partners in Health, the Kenyan Ministry of Health, and many others. Jason has served in many roles across the program lifecycle, including leading program development initiatives valued at $300 million, serving as Acting Country Director for implementation of the EQUIP-Lesotho Project (budget $9.5 million), leading national-level TWGs, and serving on the Non-Communicable Disease Secretariat under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). Jason previously received a Bachelor of Science in Microbial Biology from UC Berkeley, as well as a Master of Science and a Master of Public Health from Boston University.
