Summary

• Every applicant wants to be associated with an entity that oozes prestige and is on the cutting edge of healthcare. The organization, however, needs providers who have proven that they are committed to the community and the cause of their healthcare. I’m sure your organization needs providers who understand the patient population that they serve, not only from the time those patients grace our hallways, but how they got there, and where they are going once they are discharged.
  
  With approximately 10 years of my healthcare career invested in the UofL Health system in different modalities, as well as the rest devoted to pre-hospital care in emergency medical services and post-hospital care in home health, I am that provider.
  
  •    During my AGACNP preceptorships, I spent 2 rotations in inpatient cardiology in Jewish Hospital, 1 rotation in Interventional Radiology at UofL Main, and 1 rotation in the ED between Medical Center Southwest and Mary & Elizabeth ED
  
  •    A combined total of over 10 years in UofL Health’s EDs, ICUs, and procedural areas, as well as travel experience in other regional EDs and ICUs
  
  •    Over a decade in prehospital care serving in regional EMS departments as a paramedic
  
  I bring to the table a wide array of skills and adaptability, wisely utilized and ready for the next huge step into the provider role as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. I look forward to discussing the opportunities that await in detail with you soon.
