• I am a board certified neurologist and a fellowship trained/ certified vascular neurologist.
  
  I completed my undergraduate work at Washburn University obtaining a BA both in Music and Chemistry.
  
  For medical school, I attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine, followed by Medical internship-Neurology residency at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.
  
  I completed my training with a fellowship in vascular neurology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
  
  I remain committed to respecting the complexity of cerebrovascular disease by being involved in the primary treatment of stroke as well as ensuring that an exhaustive evaluation has been done to prevent recurrent stroke.
  
  My aim is to provide patients with appropriate education and diagnosis while maintaining empathy and respect.
