Summary
- I am a board-certified Gynecologic Oncologist specializing in the treatment of uterine, ovarian and other gynecologic cancers. I completed my fellowship at Duke University in 2010 and then spent the next 6 years at San Antonio Military Medical Center where I was the chief of Gynecologic Oncology. I have expertise in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, lymphatic mapping, novel chemotherapy treatment options, clinical research trials, management of patients with high risk genetics for gynecologic disease, and surgical management of complex gynecologic disorders.
I believe in compassionate, personalized, patient-centered clinical care that relies on the best evidence available in the treatment of Gynecologic malignancy. It is important to me that patients have confidence they are receiving individualized, progressive, state of the art care, but know they are also humans with dignity and their physician cares for them as a person.
