- Jared A. Christensen is a devoted husband, father, and leader who has played the role of doctor in a real-life daytime drama series for the past 20 seasons. He spent ten years at Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota, and an additional year at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and has two additional subspecialty fellowship certificates, in Cross Sectional imaging and in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. His work interests focus on using minimally invasive therapies to help his patients live better, longer, and stronger. He is especially interested in applying minimally invasive therapies to patients with cancer, and has a passion for working with cancer patients and their families. In 2019 he was named the Care Partner of the Year at St. Anthony’s North Hospital in Colorado and was designated a 5280 top doctor in Interventional Radiology. In his free time he loves adventures with his wife and dreamy co-star, Tricia, and their five children. He dreams of looking like Captain America and singing like Alan Jackson.
