Dr. Jane Ponterio is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist based in Staten Island, NY, specializing in general gynecology. She graduated from New York Medical College in 1981 and completed her residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/West. Currently, she practices at Ponterio & Pessolano MD PC and serves as the Dean of Students at New York Medical College. Dr. Ponterio previously held positions as the Chief Academic Officer and DIO at Richmond University Medical Center and was the Residency Program Director there. Her research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and she has been recognized with honors such as Top Doctors: New York Metro Area and Super Doctor. She is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
