Jan Jurnecka, MD, is a retired vascular surgeon based in Santa Cruz, CA. He completed his medical education at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, followed by internships and residencies in surgery at Tucson Hospitals Medical Education Program, University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson, and Baylor University Medical Center. In 2003, he obtained a certificate in an Endovascular mini-fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Jurnecka has expertise in endovascular surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and the American Venous Forum.
