• James Young, DO, is a dermatologist who retired fromYankton, SD in June 2020, after 30 years of practice. He completed his dermatology residency at Kettering Health Network/Grandview Medical Center from 1988 to 1991, following a family medicine residency at the same institution, and a transitional year internship at Darnell Army Medical Center, respectively. He graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in 1982. Dr. Young has contributed to the field through publications. He is recognized as a Fellow, past president, and Fellow of Distinction of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He served for a decade on the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology, where he was an item writer and active member. In retirement he and his wife of over 40 years Bonnie ( née Bousfield ) reside in Eau Claire Wisconsin, where their children Ethan ( emergency medicine ) and Elizabeth ( dermatology ) have their medical practices. They are blessed with five beautiful, healthy grandchildren. Life is beautiful and wonderful!!
