- Dr. James Turner is a dermatologist in Bartlett, TN and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women, Methodist Healthcare Memphis Hospitals, Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett and Memphis, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and Baptist Memorial Hospital - Memphis. He received his MS degree from the university of Arkansas, PhD in Microbiology and Immunology and medical degree, internship and residency training in dermatology from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He is a fellow in general medial surgical dermatology with a special interest in psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, microbiology and infectious diseases. Dr Turner is on the advisory board and speaker faculty for multiple pharmaceutical companies, and has been in the practice of dermatology in Memphis since 1980. Navy Captain Turner is retired from the USNR-R, serving in Desert Storm in 1991, and was on the AAD Bioterrorism task force.
