Summary
- Fellowship trained laparoscopic urologist with more than twenty years experience with robotic surgery. High volume robotic urologic oncology practice with focus in prostate, kidney and testis cancer. Performed over 5,000 procedures robotically. Pioneered techniques for robotic renal surgery and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection for testicular cancer. Involved in teaching and training other surgeons locally and globally and have performed more than 50 live teaching cases. Currently training my 21st Fellow in Minimally Invasive urology. Maintain an active IRB approved database of my patients for outcomes research resulting in multiple book chapters and peer reviewed publications. Journal reviewer for 5 high impact Urology publications. Medical Director for Robotic Surgery for Providence St. Joseph’s Health which involves oversight and management of all aspects a of a multidisciplinary robotic surgery program for 50 daVinci robots.
