Dr. James Lehman is a retired Internal Medicine specialist based in Marion, IA. He completed his residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine after graduating from the University of Iowa. He also holds an MBA from St. Ambrose University. Dr. Lehman has extensive experience in healthcare administration and patient safety, having held leadership roles such as Vice President Medical Affairs at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare (now MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center) and Vice President Quality at Genesis Health System. His work includes several publications focused on quality and safety in healthcare. Notable honors he has received include the Genesis Legend Award and the Quad City Caring Award, among others. He is also recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Scholar from the Iowa Community Health Leadership Institute.
