Dr. James Kim is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he serves as Division Chief and Fellowship Program Director of Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine. Dr. Kim received his medical degree and completed his residency at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, where he served as chief resident. He then completed his fellowship in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine at Duke University in Durham, NC. Dr. Kim joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, prior to UT Southwestern.
