James Jeffries II, MD is an experienced Internal Medicine physician based in Dearborn, MI. He received his MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1988 and went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at St Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor in 1991. He also holds a BS in Microbiology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Jeffries has been employed as an Internist at Henry Ford Medical Group since 1991. His areas of expertise include diabetes mellitus, hospitalist medicine, health technology/informatics, delirium, and hospitalization. He has several publications in areas ranging from perioperative management to blood transfusion in arthroplasty. Dr. Jeffries was also honored with the Focus on People Award from the Collaborative Rounding Team in 2006.
